What is Book Buddy: |
Our formal Book Buddy program runs October-April. During the summer months, we have an abbreviated 8 week program at two locations: CFI and Conmigo. The program will begin the week of June 8th and run through the week of August 3rd. There will be no Book Buddy the week of July 4th. Meet the requirements: |
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and sign a DHS Waiver, and commit to at least one session per week. |

Register: |
You can select your site when you register. |
|
Attend an Orientation: |
All new volunteers are required to attend either a virtual or in person orientation. |
|
Background/DHS Waiver: |
A background check or DHS Volunteer Statement Waiver may need to be completed dependent on the volunteer site. |
| Mark your calendar: |
All Book Buddy sessions will occur between 9-10am. Exact times will be updated below. CFI Child Development Center: Tuesday's from 9:30 - 10am (rising kindergarteners, school agers) Conmigo: Monday's from 9-10am (preschool and school-aged)
