Do you enjoy creating short videos, memes, and other fun content for social media? Put your skills to work to help your local library. The volunteer content creator will meet with assigned library staff once a month to discuss library needs and trends and agree to a schedule for content. You make the content and drop it in a shared folder for library staff to schedule for posting. Do you know how to set up and run local computer and phone systems? The volunteer Tech Advisor assists the library director in identifying, researching, and pricing special projects to update technology in the building. The ideal candidate will know current technology including computer systems, phone systems, and security cameras. This position is as needed with flexible scheduling up to a month at a time as projects are identified. This is an excellent opportunity to boost a professional resume with real-life projects. Contact Michelle for more information or to express interest: michelle@atlantic.lib.ia.us or 243-5466 ext.3.
