If you’re looking to get out on the farm and volunteer among the residents, this opportunity is for you! Routine chores start at 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday, finishing up once chores are done around 1 or 2 p.m.. Volunteers for routine chores will need to attend an orientation and ideally volunteer at least once a month.
Typical volunteer activities include:
- Mucking stalls
- Laying fresh bedding
- Filling waters
- Basic cleaning assignments, such as scrubbing walls and dusting fans
- Animal care-related tasks
