Description

The gardens at the George B. Hitchcock House help make the grounds feel welcoming for every visitor, and we’re looking for volunteers who enjoy getting their hands a little dirty. Flower bed volunteers help with planting, weeding, watering, trimming, mulching and keeping the historic property looking beautiful throughout the season. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just enjoy being outdoors, this is a relaxing and rewarding way to support the museum and preserve a special piece of local history.

You set your own schedule, come as go as needed based on what the flower beds need. Seasonal from May-September. We will supply any tools needed, or you may bring your own.
