Who We Are
Mission: To educate and support the transgender community while striving to normalize transgender existence within broader society.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based virtually in Des Moines, Iowa. Through educational platforms, outreach efforts, and community building, we cultivate a culture where transgender rights are respected, and gender diversity is celebrated as vital to human identity.
What We Do
GFS is focused solely on the needs of the transgender and gender non-conforming folks. We provide a safe-space for members to meet other like-minded folks from around the world, engage in peer-to-peer counseling, develop new resources and much more!
