Iowa Community Corps

Mission: To engage and empower individuals and communities across Iowa to address local challenges through volunteer service and community-based projects.

The Iowa Community Corps (ICC) is a Public Health AmeriCorps program at the Iowa Department of Health & Human Services dedicated to improving the well-being and quality of life for communities across Iowa by fostering volunteerism and community-driven service projects. The program plays a pivotal role in connecting individuals with meaningful volunteer opportunities that address pressing social challenges and enhance community development. With a strong focus on engagement, leadership, and civic participation, Iowa Community Corps is designed to unite volunteers, local nonprofits, and government entities in efforts to create positive change in communities.
