Mission: To create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

We are here to start something. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland is not your typical organization. We help children realize their potential and build their futures. We nurture children and strengthen our community. We couldn’t do any of it without you. For more than 40 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life.

As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 – 13 years old, with the match continuing until the Little graduate’s high school, in communities all around Siouxland. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
