One on One Mentoring - Cerro Gordo

Mission: To provide mentoring relationships, for youth, that promote relationship building & social skill development.

Mentoring connects youth with caring adults who can help youth aspire achieve and develop to their fullest potential. Mentoring matches build friendships and develop healthy relationships. Mentors become a role model that make a difference in the life of a youth in their area.

We provide two types of mentoring:

Individual mentoring- One mentor and one youth are matched (same gender) may meet at school or outside of school. A one year commitment is required.

Team mentoring- a perfect opportunity for friends, family members, or co-workers to volunteer together outside of school. 2-3 adults may be matched with 2-4 youth. A one year commitment is required.
