Gender Freedom Society is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the position of Recruiting Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of volunteer coordinators responsible for recruitment, screening, interviewing, and orientation of volunteers. You will oversee the entire recruitment cycle to facilitate a positive and seamless experience for volunteers, and ensure that volunteers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and resources to contribute effectively. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding processes including e-learnings, other various training and procedures for volunteers.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify volunteer training needs, and lead development of role-specific training materials.
  • Manage a team of Volunteer Coordinators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure effective execution of recruitment activities.
  • Facilitate orientation and training sessions for new volunteers, providing information about the organization, and ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills.
  • Monitor the progress of new volunteers during the onboarding period, and provide support and guidance as needed to address any challenges or concerns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers throughout the recruitment process, answering questions, providing assistance, and fostering a positive volunteer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer information, including contact details, training completion, and assignments.
  • Collaborate with Volunteer Coordinators to evaluate volunteer performance and provide feedback to department heads as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding process based on feedback from volunteers and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in volunteer management or recruiting, preferably in a nonprofit or similar setting
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire the team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and volunteer management software (preferred)
