Bridges Mentoring Program is a community based 1:1 mentoring program that matches adult volunteers with youth mentees ages 5 to 17. Mentors spend one hour per week with their mentee developing a positive supportive relationship. Initial and on going training is provided. The duration of a match is a minimum of one year.
Examples of mentoring activities can include playing a game, conversation, sharing a hobby, attending a play, going to the library and much more. The Bridges Program provides periodic large group activity opportunities.
The program coordinator provides match oversight.
