Smoke Out Hunger Event Volunteers Needed!

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping tables clear and managing compost, recycling, and garbage areas
• Welcome guests as they arrive to the event
• Hand out frozen treats to guests at our booth
• Check to see that each guest has paid for their ticket by looking at checklist
• Sell tickets to guests that have not bought their ticket yet

Qualifications:

• Be able to communicate with a diverse group of people
• Willing to interact with attendees and answer any questions they may have

Attire:

• Dress comfortably and for the weather - this will take place outside
• Volunteer t-shirts will be available on site

Directions:

• The event will take place at 313 Walnut Street Des Moines, IA 50309

Support/Training:

• Staff will be available throughout the event for ongoing support

Other:

• Volunteers will receive one complimentary ticket and will be given long breaks to enjoy BBQ and drinks!
