JUMP is a school-based community mentoring program that serves Johnston students in grades 6-12. Mentors act as positive role models who listen and help set goals, while reinforcing basic skills, attitudes and other life lessons. Currently, we have over 100 community members paired with current Johnston students. We are always in need of more community mentors.
Our program has maintained a 100% graduation rate, and we are currently matching for the 2026-27 school year.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to come and give 1 hour each week of the school year to a JCSD student to be a positive role model, a listening ear, and a guiding presence. Apply today by filling out the JUMP application. Come help shape the positive future our world needs!
