Description

The Audio Engineer is responsible for the technical aspects of audio recording, mixing, and mastering for the organization. The Audio Engineer will work closely with the production team to capture, edit and enhance audio for a variety of projects such as music, podcasts, videos, live events, and more. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of audio engineering principles, as well as experience operating and maintaining audio equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture, edit and enhance audio for a variety of projects such as music, podcasts, videos, live events, and more.
  • Operate and maintain audio equipment and software, including mixing consoles, microphones, and digital audio workstations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure audio meets technical specifications and creative vision.
  • Provide quality control for audio recordings and mixes, ensuring they meet broadcast standards.
  • Work with a variety of audio formats, including mono, stereo, and surround sound.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies and incorporate them into audio production.
  • Ensure all audio recordings and mixes are of high quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in audio engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in audio engineering
  • Strong understanding of audio engineering principles
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining audio equipment and software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with a variety of audio formats, including mono, stereo, and surround sound
